ZOSTUM 1.5GM INJECTION is a combination of Cefoperazone and Sulbactam which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to treat various bacterial infections such as respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections (upper and lower), intra-abdominal infections, septicemia (serious bloodstream infection), meningitis (inflammation of brain and spinal cord membranes, typically caused by an infection), skin and soft tissue infections.

Before receiving ZOSTUM 1.5GM INJECTION, inform your doctor if you have impaired kidney function, severe biliary obstruction (blockage of the bile ducts), severe liver disease, malabsorption conditions and have schedule for laboratory tests (such as measuring glucose in the urine).

ZOSTUM 1.5GM INJECTION should be used with caution in pregnant and breastfeeding women only if advised by the doctor. Also, it should be used with caution in children and elderly patients.
